Beautiful rooms.
Noisy, poorly insulted walls doorways etc.

This hotel is quite elegant, and definitely so considering the competition in Minot. The staff are friendly but discrete, one hardly knows they are there. However, due to the layout of rooms, all of which are on tiers, wrapped around a central lobby area that extends upward through all 8 floors, with very open acoustics, all "hallway" noise, lobby noise etc. is right outside your door. You can hear everything next door as well. Overall, its a beautiful hotel but would benefit from some attention to insulation or attention to soundproofing. ...read more

Bed was comfortable, room was clean unlike the pool area and hot tub.
The pool was absolutely disgusting, has not been cleaned in awhile. The hot tub was even worse.

This hotel is an older one obviously and out of the way of traffic and the hassle and bustle. But the train tracks are near and they were loud. The pool and hot tub were filthy, had not been cleaned in a while it seemed. The room on the other hand was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. ...read more

Good bed, flat screen. Close eatery.
Cheep toilet seat felt like gas station.

Great clean safe place to stay cool bar open area. Reasonable rates. I guest for forty or fifty dollars more you could stay in a hotel thats attached to a mall but
I see that as a rip off.

We were impressed with the cleanliness and the friendly staff.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is great for a nice getaway. The location means perhaps a 15 minute drive to major shopping areas.

Great room size, very nice public spaces.
Paper, Styrofoam glasses and cups, stains on carpets and furniture.

In general, very nice hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. The public spaces were quite attractive. I would stay here again.

I liked the location of this hotel. I also liked the atmosphere and the fact it was quiet at night - no hall noise.

Comfortable beds, quiet.
Parking was a little tight for big car.

Nice views (several floors high, I was on the 5th).

Pool is great for kids.
Ugly rooms that look like they're from the 70's. TV has few channels and very poor quality.

Not the worst, but far from the best.

Location.
Check in staff was not prompt or friendly. Had to have the room reeked to allow us entry on the second night; room location was next to cocktail bar.

Hotel is located by fairgrounds and zoo, has on-site restaurant and rooms are clean, however the rooms located on 2nd level are not quiet due to an open cocktail bar located in the lobby. Check in staff could be more service oriented and the room needed to be reeked to allow entry for the 2nd night stay. ...read more
